🚉🚌 Arrival by train / bus

Main connection via the Brenner line (Innsbruck – Bolzano). Change at Franzensfeste and continue by regional train towards Welsberg. From there, regular bus services run to Taisten and into the Gsies Valley.

From Switzerland: Zurich – Innsbruck – Brenner line – Franzensfeste – local train to Monguelfo (Welsberg)
From East Tyrol: Lienz – Monguelfo (Welsberg)
From the south: Milan – Bolzano – Franzensfeste – local train to Monguelfo (Welsberg)
From Venice: Train connection to Calalzo di Cadore; continue by bus to the Upper Puster Valley and then on to Monguelfo (Welsberg)
