Here, everything is created for endless cross-country skiing, even cross-country skiing superstar Björn Dählie participates in the traditional and internationally known "Gsieser Tal Race."
A small, sunny ski area with its own ski school, ideal for children, beginners, and families. Season tickets from Superski, Skirama Kronplatz, and Hochpustertal are accepted. Your number 1 ski mountain in South Tyrol. 360° panoramic platform at the summit, 360° skiing pleasure. And all around ski huts, winter hiking trails, toboggan runs, cross-country ski tracks – the ingredients for the perfect winter holiday. One of the most modern ski areas in Europe: fast, modern, and comfortable. That's how lifts and ascent facilities should be! Therefore, Kronplatz is always up to date technically, continuously improves its slopes and ascent facilities through constant investments, and thus ranks among the most modern ski areas in Europe.
Simply romantic: Whether under a bright blue sky or a starry canopy, being pulled by Haflinger horses through the snowy landscape. Snugly wrapped in blankets, the cozy ride over meadows and pastures is an experience for everyone.
Our area is known to be snow- and tour-safe. For the best snow conditions and for ski crossings from Villgraten to the Gsieser Tal Valley or to the Antholzertal & Defereggental, trust in the guidance of the mountain guides from the Alpinschule Pustertal.
Since ancient times, the sled has served the Alpine population as a means of transportation in the snow. As an extreme sports discipline in the artificial ice canal, sledding becomes a "spectacle." Much more leisurely, however, is sledding in South Tyrol. A fun sledding party includes the ascent on foot and stopping at a quaint hut along the way. Sled in tow and off to a brisk sleigh ride.
